My 6 year old daughter loves these toys. Unlike other similar toys out there she will actually play with these dolls after the fun of opening. She’s had the LOL dolls but never really played with them afterwards. With the Popteenies she has a lot of fun after the opening and will play with them. The opening is fun of course because of the surprise and the confetti. Be warned if you hate confetti, which my husband does, because it will make a mess. The confetti is large though so it’s easy to pick up. My daughter loves some of the little designs on the confetti. They are larger and look like they could be stickers.I have to disagree with another review they says they are breakable. Her first set of Popteenies I bought when we were going to be out of town for her birthday so they were subjected to a lot of packing and unpacking and we had no problem with them. She’s had them for months now with not one break. We’ve had other toys that break but no problem with these. After months they are still in her play rotation and she has fun setting them up and playing with them.There are three types of dolls you could get. My daughter has her favorites and the ones she hoping to get but she always loves whichever ones she gets. We are always impressed by the cute little accessories, especially the baking ones. They often find up in use by other dolls and are perfect for fashion dolls like Barbie size to play with. I’m very impressed with these little dolls and have continued to by her more.

Both of my daughters have received popteenies as a gift during the last year, and then we bought this set for my daughter at Christmas! They were a hit! My daughters are age 6 and 9 and they both love playing with these. I was a little worried that these would be like so many other toys; that the novelty would wear off as soon as the surprise of whats inside is gone, but that is not the case. Not only are they super fun to pop open (confetti does make a mess just be prepared 😁) but the little dolls are so cute and come with so many fun accessories that these are still a favorite toy 2 months later! And this set on amazon is a great price for 6 of them!

My daughter is in LOVE!!!! She bought 2 packages with her birthday money and opened all 12 in one day!! She can hardly wait for her party to hopefully receive more!I love the paper instructions on the outside of the tube that are large and very easy to read. It’s easy for my 7yr old to do by herself. The only complaint I have is that the plastic wrapper is very difficult to remove and sometimes it’s so tight around the top that it removes thes cover to the top and the confetti falls out and that is SUPER disappointing to a child.

So, these ate just like party poppers where all the confetti pops out... only with each roll you seperate inti 2 poppers & along w the confetti, one popper gives you a doll, the other a pet or another fun accessory. Between the 2 poppers you will also find more acessories hidden in attached plastic bags to open & enjoy. Just like all the new crazes, there is a checklist of all the dolls you can collect, and other sets that actually have party backgrounds, party furniture & more party girls to play with. The dolls are super cute and come with their own unique headbands. The acessories are all about getting dressed up and celebrating. The acessories are extremely tiny, however. Not for small children at all.Its is very messy when you originally open them, yes. But that is so much of the fun. We hot our daughter some for Christmas... & then ordered her a bunch more to shoot off on New Years Eve! (When they were on sale of course). The mess is a pretty one, confetti made of paper cut out decor and a few metallic pieces. But its easily sweot up from a hard surface. (You could even save if you wanted to) The only reason I personally give these 4 stars & not 5 is because of the cartridge that shoots them. After you "pop" confetti & doll and then remove them, you are left with quite a hefty plastic cartridge. Honestly, it feels so wasteful to throw it away. If they could have made these more useful... had them turn into something to go with set, or something to collect, vs. throw away... i would give 5 stars.

These were a really big hit on Christmas morning. All 6 were easy for my 6 year old to open. She loved the popping confetti and all 6 were different dolls so no dupes. Nothing but confetti comes flying out so its not unsafe for young kids to open on their own. They were cute and fun for her to play with and the price was incredible. I am used to blind bags costing about $5 each. These were approx $1.25 each and a lot more fun.

I bought 2 of these surprise packs for my 5 year old nieces to open on Christmas. We weren't sure what to expect. We took them outside thinking the pop could be dangerous for little ones but it's very minimal and safe for their age. The product is full confetti as stated so open it in an open space. The girls loved the kits and the surprise factor is probably the best part. It's much cheaper than the counter part i see on the shelves and gets just as much play time and attention as any 5 year old girl will give any doll.

If your child is into the Popteenie craze then this is a great item to get. My daughter was thrilled that there were so many poppers within the box. She got six Popteenies with accessories to add to her growing collection. She loves these so much and gets so excited when popping them. You just have to be careful to make sure you get the other accessories out of the bottom before throwing away, it's easy to overlook them.

Fun to pop! Good price compared to other similar surprise dolls and I liked that these are more realistic and less sassy. The accessories are tiny and we lost some immediately, but that's typical for these things. Glad to see a previous review that received the same exact dolls we did. Won't buy another box hoping to build out our collection and will pick them up in singles instead.
