Exactly what I needed - super impressed with quality and how easy it is to extend and retract. The reel is nice and just so portable - easy to take anywhere and easy to bring on kayak. It feels very durable and feel it will last me a very long time. Casting and reeling is smooth and holds a lot of line. I can feel fish nibble without an issue so it is sensitive and you feel connected. Overall highly recommend buying this one.

Convenient rod and reel! Took it to work and popped it out on my lunch break. No bites but fun for a beginner. Took it back out after work and fish on! It felt a little extra flexible when the fish was fighting but it stayed strong. Much more convenient than a full set of gear, put a few essentials in the little tackle box and a few tools in the case. I can't wait to use it again! I wish as a beginner the directions were a little more substantial, but great value!

This rod and reel are the best! Packs well in my suitcase so I can take it on vacation. The reel is even better than my Penns for smooth action . I have had one of their GG reels for 4 years and it has become my favorite . Great value and a solid product!

The quality of this rod is so nice, i love it. Has such a sturdy build and doesn't bend excessively. The telescopic movement is very smooth, its easy to bring back down and it compacts very nicely. It wont shrink on its own either it holds its place firmly.

Usually don’t write reviews unless I feel a product has earned it. I really didn’t have the highest expectations for a telescoping rod. Really just wanted something convenient to have in the car at all times. On top of it be inconvenient, it’s actually incredibly sturdy and feels Solid. The real on it is also great quality for the price. Can’t say that I have any complaints on it right now.

Very hard to install hook keeper. Literally no reason not to have a metal hook keeper installed already, like many other rods.

Great product, line makes weird noise when coming off the reel when it hits the rod. Nice metal rod won’t snap. Good for kids as it comes with a smaller size. Pretty good price for what it is.
