Q: Does it have electrode tips at the very end/bottom of the cane? Do you have to remove the rubber end to expose the electrodes?

The Zap Cane does not have electrodes on the very end/bottom of the cane. On the end would be too much pressure and weather and the electrodes would be destroyed.

Q: Does this cane actually weigh 3.5 lbs? That is a pretty heavy cane to walk around with...

3.5 lbs is the shipping weight. Out of the the package the cain is only 1.25 lbs.

Q: Is it ok to use this out side during winter?

Yes but if it gets wet you have to let it dry before you can ZAP it.

Q: Where is the button that you push to make it zap? there is no picture of it. do you have to push another button to turn it on before it will zap?

There is a lever on the handle of the cane. This lever turns the whole thing off to just use as a regular cane. Then if you turn the lever one notch up that will turn on the flashlight that is on one end of the handle(see pic) Then if you turn the lever another notch up that will allow the zap feature to turn on to be used. This doesnt zap it just turns on the feature to allow to zap..Then if you feel threatened and need to zap something there is a small red button underneath the handle part that you press and that zaps as long as you need to zap until you release this little red button to stop zap.
