This product is great if you want healthy hair
I've loved PTR shampoo and conditioner for years! My hair use to be over processed and just would not grow. Once I started using these products the condition of my hair improved drastically, which in return has allowed for my hair to grow. It's actually gotten down to upper back and before it never even got to my shoulders. Now I get my hair cut by several inches about every 6 months. As a licensed cosmetologist, I tend to push the limits of my own hair versus my clients and this is one product line I always recommend for those struggling for hair growth. This has improved my hair density as well. It has a great fresh scent to it.The only thing is you have to imulsify the product in your hands and you must have extremely wet hair.

Nice soft lather. Leaves my hair feeling very clean. Soft gentle scent, not over perfumed.
Best shampoo I've encountered

Perfect for damaged/bleached, brittle, or dry hair!
Since I made the mistake of attempting to bleach my own (previously fine and somewhat oily hair) and basically completely ruined it, I’ve been trying literally (in the) hundreds of products to try and repair the bonds and get my hair to be able to maintain any sort of moisture. I’ve done salon treatments, tried so many masks, shampoos, leave-in conditioners etc. This so far is the BEST shampoo out of all of them (Olaplex, Redken, K18, and other name brands). This shampoo is actually able to cleanse your hair as well as provide moisture to the strands without feeling like you have some sort of residue left in your hair after rinsing. I’m going to continue on my journey of trialing new products, testing their pH levels, etc., but this is one product I will absolutely be buying again! The scent isn’t overpowering or offensive either which is another plus in my book as many hair products (especially the leave-in conditioners) are intolerable to smell after an hour or two. If you have dry, brittle hair or have recently lightened your hair more than 2 levels, this shampoo is a MUST to get that moisture back!

Very nice shampoo. I only bought it for the scent.
I was at a Hilton in Clearwater, FL and they give you this shampoo. I loved it so much (and could only swipe a few from housekeeping!), that I bought it here. It's very expensive imo, and I have little hair (I'm a guy with a crew cut), so I can't speak to some of its qualities. I don't know how it is on long hair, for body or anything else. I bought it for the scent which I love and that's that. It's pricey for that privilege.

From Bird's Nest to Glorious Fabio Locks.
Last December I went on a solo trek through Puerto Rico. It was my first time being anywhere relatively outside of the U.S. mainland and it was also my first time traveling alone. I was there for two weeks and was on a mission to use as little money as possible. The only time I was able to shower was at the beach showers, which you obviously shouldn't use shampoo or conditioner at. I was pretty smelly and disgusting after sleeping on beaches for 2 weeks. On my second to last night there (in celebration of really only spending money on copious amounts of beer) I decided to get a hotel room at the Condado Plaza Hilton so I could be nice and clean for the flight home. This was my first legitimate shower since I arrived in PR and dear baby Jesus, I am so happy that this was the shampoo and conditioner combo that I got to use. I was used to hotel shampoo/conditioner being kinda crappy, but this stuff was NOTHING like typical hotel commodities. My hair is very curly and thin, meaning it turns into this disgusting mess if I don't condition it every day. Now, add that on top of living on a beach for two weeks. Yeah, it was nasty. The luscious liquid inside of the tiny-complimentary-hotel-sized-emerald-green bottle made me feel like I had the blonde, careless locks that only a baby Fabio could've experienced before. It transformed my bird's nest, beach dried hair into a luxurious sea of velvet waves. I was waiting for a unicorn to prance in at any moment and take me away on a rainbow bridge coated in sprinkles and glitter while my hair gently fluttered in the cotton candy scented wind behind me. The last part never happened, but I felt like I had somehow scalped a sexy, silken goddess and glued said scalp unto my own noggin.Ever since then I have used this shampoo. It took me this long to write a review because I feel like I fall in love with shampoos and get tired of them quickly. But nah, a year later and I'm still on that Peter Thomas Roth hype train. Do your hair a favor and get this shampoo.

I've used it for years and it's minimized my scalp breaking out.
I've always fought with acne on my scalp having tried several shampoos. The stuff that actually worked always smelled horrible and is usually really expensive or requires a prescription. The key for me has been to wash daily. If I skip more than a day, my head tends to break out. While this stuff isn't designed for acne relief, it's done a decent job for me keeping my scalp at a fair middle ground of not too oily and not too dry.I use about a nickel sized amount daily, starting with the sides of my head (where I get the most acne) and working up my scalp, then out the length of my hair. My hair is about shoulder length. It smells clean, but subtle. You don't have to use a whole lot, and it is good for daily showers. I personally do NOT like the matching conditioner for regular use, it tends to make my hair really poofy, so I suppose it could be good to someone looking for added volume maybe. I actually stopped using it a couple years ago completely and have had better control of my hair from doing so.

Just okay
Smells nice but you need to use a lot of the product to wash your hair. For the price I didn't think it be so watery. Switched back to Biolage
