This is the perfect sander for finishing work. I have a sander attachment to my angular grinder and that works fine for initial sanding or cutting where I want to remove a lot of material. But at its high speed it is impossible to adjust fine details. This is perfectly ideal for finishing work which gives me fine finishing in very less time. It is ergonomic and easy to attach the standard sandpaper sheets cut into 4. Apart from very cheap sheets, it works fine with all the standard sheets available at my local hardware store. It does not tear off the sheets.One thing to note is that it does not have dust management, but that also means I do not have to make holes in the sheet every time. And at this managable speed the dust is not too much. I had a makita finishing sander like this with dust management and even with that the amount of dust generated is not much different. And the quality is at par with other reputed brands. It has taken out my earlier sanding by hand almost altogether.

Overall quite happy with the sander. Have been using it for a few days now and works fine.Not too heavy, good grip for single and two handed use.Only downside is the clamps for attaching the sandpaper are not very convenient to use. Require quite a bit of force to hold open with one hand while sliding in the sand paper with the other. If the paper is thick it is a bit difficult to do.Would have been much better if it had a clip which stays open on its own and can be clamped down once the paper has been put in place.

Sanding power is great.No speed control but is easy to use.Does make some considerable noise.

Bought it for putti sanding and wooden door sanding. Saved lot of time and money!

Works very well. easily sands and makes smooth the required area. good power but still easy to hold and maintain grip and focus on the portion requiring sanding. However, the joint (held by screw) for one of the pins (that holds the sandpaper in place) broke away from the machine within 6 months of purchase. this was not expected. so since one of the pins alone is unable to hold the sandpaper, i removed that mechanism and fashioned a new base plate with velcro to hold stick-able sandpapers.

Very handy and excellent sander. Works very well on walls and wood. Wonderful part of it is that you can use any sand paper available in the market. Bosch is Bosch. No comparison. I am very happy with it and also the seller cloudtail. Worth buying. I am not a professional but I have a passion in buying tools. At the age 68 while using this sander on my old furniture and walls, I did not feel fatigue. If you want to polish your old furniture and paint walls, simply go for it.

The product was received as per the delivery date and came well packed. The unit is compact and fits easily in ones hand, and can be used continuously without any overheating. However the decibel level and vibrations in use are quite high, and causes numbness in the hand after prolonged usage. Also the clips to clamp the sandpaper are a bit fiddly, and already having problems with the clips not opening and requiring to be pried out from the locking lugs.
