Good fine spray
I wanted a watering can rose that would direct water into the many pots I have rather than waste a lot of it on the patio areas in my garden. This rose does just that but I find I have to tip the can quite a lot otherwise it leaks a stream of water at the point nearest the ground. I had hoped that this would not happen in a brand new rose.

Does not fit either of my two watering cans
I'm writing with disappointment because, although it appears well made and is 'sturdy' (as the review specifically asks) it does not fit either of the two watering cans I own. And looking at it, the range of cans it would fit is quite small. I took a gamble in the hope it would be designed to fit common sizes. One of the cans I own is extremely common, and in fact is sold all over the place in this part of the UK. Now I'm stuck with the need to buy a new can, which is difficult given that the width of the spout where the rose fits is never included in product dimensions! Annoying, considering the high cost of this thing, and I presume a lot of people must be encountering the same problem. For information, the neck of this rose has an internal diameter of 25mm at widest point, and looks about 7 or 8mm less at the narrowest point. The design is such that you are supposed to just shove it on and hope it grips whatever can it's attached to. That might work, if you can find a can that it fits.

A Gentle Fine Spray
This is suitable for seeds, cuttings, or when gentle care is needed elsewhere. It has a tapered fit so it pushes onto a round spout. Make sure it is firmly pushed on or it might slip off. I dropped mine and the insert came out but I was able to push it back into place without any trouble. The item does not fit my small one litre watering can but it fits my six litre plastic can just fine.
