show place
My grass came up making a nice stand of grass . Several areas I planted that ranged from complete shade , to partial shade . It has all came up and is thriving but I have noticed that in complete shaded areas the grass grows slower . This is a grass with a very good looking green color . For those familiar with Rye grass , this grass looks similar as in the fine blades of grass both have . The red fescue I planted on each side of my stone walkway leading to my house turning it into a show case . Everyone that comes to my house comments on the grass .

It did not germinate
I read that red fescue is hard to germinate but I was ready to try twice. So I put it on a bed of composting straw in partial shade. I first was watering once a day, and less. Three weeks later I tried again and I couldn't get a single thing to germinate. Buy at your own risk.

Fantastic Results So Far!
Reviews for this were leaning pretty far in either direction of it sprouting really well, or not at all, but I wanted to give this a chance anyways. Now that I'm seeing great results in about a week's time I'm wondering if those that put this seed down tried it in full sun areas, as creeping red fescue thrives in shade. Pictured is a week's worth of new growth. Decided to try it on a small patch as a test using a modest few handfuls of seed sprinkled over tilled ground, and so far it looks like everything is coming in healthy and happy!

Favorite seed
I’ve bought this 5 times now-It’s a super no-mow evergreen grass that propagates easily and is low water once established. It tolerates my clay soil and does well in sun and shade.Great price point imo

Pretty
I planted this in a small area under a Bougainvillea bush on my patio. I had to google planting instructions because nothing came with the seeds. It took a little over a week for it to come up. I kept it moist and added mulch. Really pretty and fine stranded! Will be planting more seed in the areas where it hasn't sprouted yet.

Grows very easily
Granted, we live in area thatnhas had a very wet and not very hot summer. We planted this early June to grow grass in bare patches that had died due to harsh winter as well as too much shade under thick trees. Within two weeks, the bald spots were filled! Great product , at least in the conditions we've had in our region.

Doesn't germinate
Poor germination. Other smaller grass seed I planted (putting green grass) at same time germinated and sprouted wonderfully as expected. This seed was still unspouted after 2 weeks. Won't buy again.
