I love this lid. And there are three of them! Which I will need, as the steel is very thin and dents easily. In fact one of the arrived pre-dented. I don't mind that as the price explains the material and the dents.As to how the lid performs - excellently. I use it in my cast iron fry pan when cooking steaks. The lid sets down inside the pan right on the bottom and creates a mini oven. Turns out perfectly cooked medium rare with nice sear. I use it with other several of my other pans too, it quickly melts cheese on burgers. The light weight is great for maneuvering around with my old arthritic wrists. Easy to clean. I store it by hanging it by its handle on a a hook with my other pots and pans.

Nice domes for streaming, cheese melting or just keeping food warm.
