Did what it was supposed to do
I had already updated the software on my 2016 Escape with Sync3, when I learned that I also needed to update the usb hub to enable Apple Carplay. This selller had it the cheapest and it was same day delivery so I took a chance even though there were no reviews.I swapped out the usb hub in 5 minutes using a youtube video and a flathead screwdriver. No other tools are necessary. The hub lit up blue as soon as I started the car. I plugged in my iPhone and I was prompted to start Carplay immediately. Everything tested fine.

Works most of the time in 2016 Ford C-Max Energi
The install of this module was very simple, it took about 5 minutes after watching a youtube video. So far the performance has been okay. Sometimes it will randomly lose connection to Android Auto and Apple CarPlay repeatedly, other times it works flawlessly.It was worth the price and when it works it's a great upgrade to the vehicle.

Plugged in no issue. Carplay does work on this just make sure your SYNC unit itself is at least updated to 2.2

Worked as expected, unlocked CarPlay in my ‘16 escape!

Works if you can remove the old one.
Used a paint can opener tool to remove old one. New one snapped in and worked.

Allows you to upgrade your SYNC to version 3.0
Easy install worth the time and money if you have an older version of Ford SYNC in your car or truck
