i gave this review a 5 star precisely because of the "go beyond normal business service". Khloee of customer service is someone that I have never encountered in reference to on-line purchases. After I purchased this pole saw shortly after the Covid 19 crisis when production and transportation of almost everything was greatly at a stand still I needed a part that wasn't operating properly. Long story short I received a considerable REFUND and Khloee was considerate and professional during this time. Now, here is why I stressed " go beyond normal business service " after several months the pole saw required a new chain bar and chain so I contacted Amazon question/answers service for replacement with out much help. A few days later Khloee called regarding the issue and informed me that the parts where available and that the pole saw was still within the one year warranty; therefore, I received all parts and shipping free of any charge and a follow up courtesy email from Khloee. i cannot express the quality of service you will get with this customer service department at the price you will pay for this pole saw.Now, for some positive and negative evaluation of the product. Several issues with the manufacturing of the pole extensions and the engine components. The way the extension locks together are lacking in regard to how they fit together and splices one attachment to the next. The engine is powerful enough for the 10" chain bar and cuts limbs like butter but for me it is very heavy especially when the 16' extension is added for greater length. The strap provided does help but the weight for me is a little too much ( I am 69 years old ).Also the plastics are very thin and if the chain comes off the bar it chews through the plastic chain guard cover very easily and this will cause a problem when tightening the chain tension. Also, the adjustment screw for chain tension is manufactured in the wrong place and requires a rather long flat head screw drive. A side adjustment screw would be better and are on other brands. I like this pole saw mainly because it is powerful for larger limbs and the customer service gives me hope that when I need parts in the future ,as long as Khloee is still there ,I will receive excellent service. Now for the price you will not buy a more powerful pole saw at his price i.e. it isn't a Sthil or a Makita etc, etc. but you will have a pole saw that can get the job done at about half the price. Just take care and keep the chain tight. Hope this helps.

This Maxtra Pole Saw made by Brandline is an excellent piece of machinery. it is rugged and durable and with the 42.7CC motor, it will literally cut through larger branches like a hot knife through butter. I really like the extra length with the extension piece. You can reach up high into the trees and cut with ease. The only hang up i had was when i had trouble getting the extensions apart to put back into the bag. They were sticking together for som reason and i had to lightly tap on the connector to try and jar it loose. In doing so, i cracked the connector and this was on the second time i had it out. I called customer service and told them what had happened and that I cracked the connector. and it was definitely my fault. I asked if they had any for purchase and she (Heather stated that they would get a new connector out to me STAT. And it arrived in 2 days. They even emailed me once they saw that the connector had arrived and asked if everything was OK. This is going above and beyond. I would HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone who needs a very solid, reliable pole saw. You will not be disappointed. The one thing I cant figure out though is that how to get everything to fit into the storage bag. My handle sticks out and i have to zip the bag up to handle and let the handle stick out. Other than that, its darned near perfect.Edit: 11/3/2021I have been using this pole saw for the past six months on odds and end jobs in the woods clearing off some pine branches to raise the limb line on property. And I've been cutting though some 6-7 inch limbs like it was nothing. This saw is a beast and will outperform any of the "big boys".The other day, I noticed the saw started to slip a bit. So I contacted customer service and started a dialogue with Jenna, who couldn't have been more helpful. When I explained what happened and what was going on with the saw, she shipped me out a new saw head with pole attachment within a couple of days. She even sent me an email when the shipment arrived to ensure that everything was working ok with the saw. And if it wasn't, she advised me that they would take care of it. This company stands behind their product like no one I've ever dealt with. If you are shopping elsewhere for different pole saw, you need look no further than Maxtra.

Purchased this pole saw as an alternative to brand name saws costing 2 to 3 times as much. I have used the saw moderately on my farm to clear out overhanging tree limbs on fence rows. Mine starts right up without any issues. It is a 50:1 fuel mix which matched my Stihl saws. I have been pleased with the performance of the saw, but would rate the saw as a residential grade saw not a commercial grade. I’ve had a few issues with bolts vibrating loose more than once. An example of this would be the 2 bolts that hold on the bar oil tank on the saw head vibrated loose. I was able to get new metric bolts at the hardware store very easily. I used loctite to prevent the bolts from vibrating loose again. Just aggravating that the bolts backed out while I was in the middle of a job. I had to stop because the oil tank came loose. I have also needed a replace the driveshaft to the saw head because the drive shaft sheared off (see picture). I would rate the service and parts availability more than excellent. I was able to email Martina at Maxtra. She has been very helpful. I have been able to get parts ordered and sent to me by FedEx within a few days. Performance, parts availability, and service are a 5 star rating. Quality and assembly are 3 stars. Overall, I give the pole saw a 4 star rating. Check bolt tightness and have loctite available. I would purchase the saw again.
