Outcast Prowler Float Tube - Navy

I have not taken it out the box yet, but I know I will love it. This will be my second Outcast float tube, the first one was a Fat Cat Deluxe that I've been using for 2 years, so decided to get a Outcast Prowler when someone wants to go fishing with me. As far as Iam concerned these are the Cadilac of float tubes. If you have any size to you, you will appreciate these. They are comfortable and easy to fish from. These are well made float tubes. OK, now for the revision. I have taken my new float tube out and must say I am not impressed with the comfort. I have 4 inches less length to the seat than my Outcast Fat Cat. My Fat Cat is also easiler to manage in and out of the water. Also in the Fat Cat you can replace the air bladder in the seat and back if necessary, not so in the Prowler. The 4 inch length difference may not matter for someone who is shorter. The only reason I got a Prowler was because it had more air chambers. I am going back to my Fat Cat.

Seems sturdy and well built, with a few exceptions. For me at 6’1”, the bottom seat cushion could be a little longer. Also, the plastic legs for the stripping apron I found difficult to attach to the tube while sitting, especially the rear ones. I do like that it sits higher in the water than my old Super Fatcat, but the trade-off is battling the wind. All-in-all I am happy with the purchase. Note, the hydration bladder no longer is available even though it’s hose is shown on the photo.
