What size particulates does this mask filter?

I really don't know, I've never thought of measuring particles before!

Is it suitable when using oxalic acid crystals when treating for varroa in bee hives, thanks.

Hi hun. I have used it for spray painting and for using toxic polyutherane varnish. I have used it for sanding my floors aswell. The fitting of this mask is tight. But make sure you fit it to your face properly. And it will be OK. However I'd definitely strengthen the straps. I actually stapled mine then used medi tape around that area as my straps broke after just a few uses. I think all these masks fail on that area as iv bought a couple of different brands and all gave. Secure the straps once you've got the right fitting and it's a good mask.

Does the 3M 2097 filter fit on this mask?

Only used the mask once, the strap is of poor fitting and snapped soon as I adjusted it to fit my head .
