Are there any round or teardrop blades for curved moldings?

Both are available on Amazon. You will need to order the handle (scraper) that will accommodate either blade. The Warner 10015 Round Carbide 100 X Soft Grip Scraper comes with one 5/8th-inch round blade and uses Warner Replacement Blades Number 824. Then you can order the Bahco 625-PEAR pear-shape scraper blade that also fits in the Warner scraper.

New to this kind of scraper-- can it be used as a alternative to a card scraper for wood?

A card scraper like very fine sandpaper should be used for light and sensitive finishing. This carbide scraper is designed for more robust, heavy duty work and depending on the job you are doing you might be able to use it carefully enough to be successful on more delicate work. Best to have the right tool for the job. The Warner is not perfectly designed, but is very good for heavier work and I like it.

Witch way does the blade face?

The blade edge faces to the rear of the tool so you cut by pulling it to you and bearing down on the front handle. Hope that helps...regards, JWM

Will this work for removing old paint from drywall?

I did not use it on drywall but if you are careful, I do not see why it would not work. It worked well for me on removing paint from wood and wallpaper from plaster walls. Just use a gentle touch and you should be fine.
