Q: i was told WD 40 would be better to spray inside a car door for rust protection, but WD40 doesn't seem to last long. i assume this is just similar?

WD40 disperses water from metal among lots of other uses. that being said, i would lithium spray lubricant for your doors, i would think for your car, garage doors. fogging spray is used for outboard motors, in the cylinders when storing the boat for the winter

Shelf life is at least 5 years.

Q: Can i use this to fog a supercharger?

Fogging oil is great for protecting engines during storage when applied to cylinders via sparkplug holes. However, Superchargers are more complex so we recommend that you NOT use fogging oil in supercharger unless the manufacturer specifically provides directions for doing so.
