Good running board for the money. 2012 Sierra 1500 install. If you are looking for heavy duty OEM type boards, these are not it. These are meant for general use and to protect your rockers more than anything. The instructions are some what lacking, but if you have installed them before only takes about an hour or so for both sides. If your vehicle has never had boards installed previously, you will need to drill and tap the 1st and 2nd bracket locations on the vehicle to clean out rust and debris. Drill bit size is 17/64 and tap is M8. The instructions call out needing a 13mm socket - you need a 13mm socket for the M8 bolts to the inside rocker and body. You need a 12mm socket for the bolts on the brackets to boards. Overall, these will meet my needs.

Arrived quickly! This was an easy easy install. 1st one took an our and 2nd was 45 minutes. No left or right side boards or brackets. All the side. One size of fasteners 13 mm. Lined up great and looked excellent. Kept sides of vehicles much cleaner. I have been installing running boards for more than 30 years and this was bye far the easiest and quickest install I have ever done. Also the largest boards that I have ever installed. Hats off to the manyfacturer.

The Black caps end come loose get lost

Brackets appear to mount board to close to truck to safely use step. Will have to step with your foot sideways to use step. Wish I seen a side image that shows the step is open on the bottom and will hold material in it that will eventually cause corrosion. Looks good for the price.
