Love short stories
Reading The Greatest Short Stories of Anton Chekhov was a deeply rewarding experience for me. Chekhov’s writing feels effortlessly profound—he captures human emotions with such honesty and nuance. I was struck by how he could say so much with so few words, often leaving me thinking long after I’d finished a story. His characters felt real, their struggles relatable, and the quiet observations on life resonated with me deeply. This collection reminded me why I love short stories.

The World of Chekhov.
I grew up in the world of chekhov. He is the Best short story writer in my view. Specially his short story “Misery”. If you’re immensely sentimental like me you can feel sorrow, grief and loneliness in the very first line of that story in just a second…🥲

Most lovingly readable
Very nice short stories. Most importantly the translated narration is really great. All stories are from good old age from the 18th century. But still those are so interesting .
