Was great up until 20mph winds at the beach just broke the metal in half while umbrella was screwed down in the sand. Not strong metal at all. But very lightweight & portable. Only use for NOT windy days.

Ordered this beach umbrella a couple months ago, finally got a chance to use it and I love it! It comes nicely packaged in the carry bag and inside another long plastic bag which you could keep for storage during the winter. The carry bag has a strap to use over the shoulder, its a lightweight umbrella. Once opened you twist the bottom stick with threads down into the sand. It even has a handle which opens to allow better grip when twisting/screwing the stick into the sand. After that you place top part with umbrella up into the bottom stick and twist round knob until its tight. You can also open umbrella first then place it into the bottom stick. It has a tilt option for the umbrella once its secured. Be sure to tighten knob because if its a windy day the umbrella will fly out of bottom stick. It gave good shade for 2 people. If you have several people you may need additional umbrellas or a different type of cover. It held up nicely all day at the beach. We used it 2 days in a row, had no difficulty and a great day at the beach!

It’s easy to use and for the most part decent quality. It is definitely not meant for high winds though. First day that we used it at the beach the wind got pretty high and the umbrella began to bend. Worked fine however the next day with light wind.

Really nice umbrella! Used at the beach and it was perfect for shade. I did use it at home, putting it all the way in the ground and with a little wind it broke at the base. Kinda disappointed, but they did replace it for me which I was happy about. Overall, works great!

This umbrella has provided excellent shade at the beach and in the yard for two summers now. Screw end isn’t that tough, but adequate for a sandy beach or a fresh dug gopher mound. In a breeze, I’ve used a couple bungee cords to lash it to the lawn chair I’m sitting in (also useful for out on the cul de sac to supervise bikes and scooters on a sunny summer morning).

Really like it. Super easy to put into the ground. Pretty. Good cover for two people. Three max. I think it can stand normal wind. We had strong wind so we put it down.

Brought this to the beach and the part that connects the umbrella to the pole wouldn’t stay in place no matter how tight. It wiggles with medium wind and almost Blew off twice until I took it down. Could have SERIOUSLY injured someone. Now left at the beach without umbrella so either burn or abdomen the whole thing. Extremely disappointed
