Worked great and allowed me to paint outside of my dormer
I was selling my house, and I had a dormer with two small size windows and a 10in section between them. I did manage to scrap the old flaky paint but when I tried to paint the primer, it was very hard to hold on with one hand and use the other to get the brush into the paint and paint the exterior. this, plus the 6ft shock absorbing safety lanyard (bought separately) did the job. I run the lanyard between the 2 windows that I knew the 10 in framing is made of solid 2x4s nailed together and from the floor to the ceiling (not the 2in window frames that you get when you have two connecting windows) and attached both ends to my harness and completed the job.

Dangerous job done safely.
My wife wore it while painting part of our house located on a cliff. 1. I strung a cable across that side of the house to which the harness was attached. 2. She did the painting because I had a better opportunity to control her footing and movement than if we had switched jobs. 3. She is 71 (now I am in trouble), and I am 79. 4. Senior citizens on a fixed income sometimes do the best they can and this harness made that possible. The next use for the harness is for me to help put up a ham radio antenna on the roof of our house;. We wouldn't be able to do any of these things without your harness. Thanks for a quality, reasonably priced product.

Awesome heavy duty product, especially for the price.
This harness seems very well made and is heavy duty for the price. I was expecting some lighter weight straps and rings for the cost, but it was heavier materials than I expected, which is a good thing. I used in for two story chimney work and it was perfect. It adjusted well to my body, and I'm not a big guy, but plenty of room in the straps for many sizes. This is well worth the cost for being 35 feet up on a roof and having that safety backup.

Works great.
My husband wore this while roofing the peak of our house. It worked perfectly. He was very secure even while tied off working down near the eaves. I about had a heart attack watching him, but could see clearly that the harness and tie off was holding him securely. He said it fit well with no bunching. Didnt seem to get in his way at all from what I could tell. Would definitely order again.

good quality and fit
I'm a DIYer who wanted something that I can be sure will save me from my clumsy self while up on the roof. This harness does the trick. It fits my 6'4" 220lb frame well with plenty of room to spare. It seems well-made. I like that there are stretch indicators along the seams so you can tell when the harness has become stretched beyond its safe use--an important feature.

Well, my husband did NOT fall four stories to his death
No chimney cleaners will climb up on our 4-story roof, so creosote removal is a do-it-ourselves project. While still terrifying to watch, I knew husband was safer than before. !00% worth the money just for my peace of mind; his peace of mind was a bonus.
