How do you change the wick

To replace the wick, remove large screw where you refill with petrol, the cotton wool packing has to be picked out through the hole, once removed, the new wick has to be threaded through from the top if the lighter. Some wicks come with a wire attached to make this easier. When the wick is threaded, cut off wire leaving some wick sticking out, repack the cotton wool through the fuel refill hole. Refuel and replace screw. There are videos on YouTube which demonstrate thus process.

Where can I get a spring from it broke after 6 weeks

I found the hair-trgger ignition dangerous, its would ignite if it toppled over on a table or worse on a carpet - I dumped it after an hour. It is now resting peacfully in thtaht great land-fill in the sky, sans wadding, fuel or wick. RIP R
