Is it ok if this comes into contact with rubber conponents? Cv axle boot, balljoint, ect..

I have used this for a while now and it has had no ill effects to rubber, wires etc. about the only things I avoid are calipers and exhaust.

Yes, applying with a brush works very well. We use the product for tarnish and corrosion protection, and apply it with a brush to the surfaces of the metals.

What type of set up is best used to spray this?

I used a modified special gun that is used to spray fluid film. But Graco electric paint sprayer will work also depends on what you are trying to accomplish

What about applying this over 'slightly rusted' areas of a car frame ?
