Yes. If you plug in an iPhone and set it on a MagSafe charger (this one included,) it will ignore the MagSafe and use the cord to charge. However, I wouldn't say it is easier to carry: if you only hold onto one of the two things while walking around, you are probably gonna eventually drop the one you don't have a grip on, (the magnet is strong enough to hold it if you stand still, but it isn't super strong.) What I would say is stuffing them both in a pocket, (without a cord, using MagSafe,) works great: they stay aligned and charge, assuming it isn't too hot outside. If it is hot then charging in an insulated space, (like your pocket,) doesn't work very well, (either with MagSafe or with a cord.)

Q: Will an iPhone 15 Pro. Max fit on this properly?

Yes. I've used it with a 13 PRO Max and it works without a problem. I figure it to be the same for the 15 PRO Max as well
