Q: I was thinking of buying this tubing set but is there a prop 65 warning, and is the tee copper or brass?

The tee is made with lead-free brass. This item is NSF 61 certified, which is required by plumbing codes & standards. This product is safe to use for potable water! The reason for the Prop 65 warning is California. Most all manufacturers that sell their products in California use the warning on mostly all of their products. Thanks for your inquiry!

Q: What size U bracket would I need to mount this tube?

The smallest size you will easily be able to find is probably 1/2" tube strap. Best practice is to use similar materials together which for this application would be plastic. The tube will lay on the straps without being pinched.

Q: What is the inner diameter (id) of the tubing? 1/8 inch?

Unfortunately I do not know the ID of the PEX tubing. The pre-installed fittings on both ends preclude making this measurement. The pre-installed fittings were why I purchased this tubing for my ice maker. It worked perfectly, matching the fitting on the back of my refrigerator. My plumber also said that PEX is the ONLY way to run water to the refrigerator. The clear plastic tubing tends to crack and leak after a few years of service.
