They will wipe off but do show but don't suffer like my Delorion does ! The lid touch area is not SS so no problem there

Can this food bin be washed in the dishwasher?

As you know there is an inner plastic liner. I would think it’s ok but we wash these parts separately as they don’t get too dirty if you use compostable disposable paper bags
