Lifesaver on a hot weekend, next day delivery on a Sunday and the AC was back in action, cheap enough to keep a spare around because they tend to fail.

I have a 2-stage heat pump with an ECM fan so I have no use for the fan side but, while I had the multimeter out, figured I would test it. The herm side specs are 35uf +6% and the fan side specs, marked out with a sharpie on the box, are 5uf -6% --> likely because the fan side did not pass inspection.Herm side tested perfect, ~35.17uf, fan side tested ~4.5uf where (0.94)5uf=4.7uf, ergo the sharpie markout on the box. White dot on top of the capacitor means it went through inspection. Be sure to test against common for the terminals you will be using before you hook it up, rather have a capacitor test a bit higher than the label value than below.

Bought 2 and Tested / 34.6 & 5.0 and 34.8 & 5.0 right out of the box.Installed one and it started the compressor smooth as butter. Will update when it dies, hopefully it will be quite a few years, for reference the CSC it replaced only lasted from 1/21 to 7/24...I ordered at 10pm last and had them at 7am this morning. A+ in anyone's book for HVAC being down mid summer.Buying 2 saved 6% and made it enough for free shipping. So labeled the date and measurements on it so I'll remember the shelf life later and stored it indoors, worth the few extra dollars to have a possible spare.
