This is good quality Japanese steel for anyone in search of a knife set to accompany them on their culinary endeavours. This was purchased for our daughter who is studying for her culinary A.S. degree. She is impressed by their quality and ease of use, and the knife sheaths are a must for travelling. Thumbs up!

I bought these for my boyfriend for Valentine’s Day. He had asked for a chef’s knife set. I looked through quite a few options. I decided on this for no particular reason as I’m not the cook in the house but it seemed nice. When he opened them up, he was overjoyed. Tonight he’s using them for the first time. “Babe! These are the sharpest knives I’ve ever seen! I’m kind of scared of them...” And he’s hard to please. I highly recommend them to anyone.

These cut and sharpen really well but don't try to press with the flat of the blade.

Tad Expensive but great set of knives. No rust. She loves them and the edge seems to hold up well. I am a chef and was hoping these would be a great beginner set for an aspiring cook (daughter). They are holding up great.

Please note these knives will change you or your significant other into thinking they are now a master chef.. also they are super sharp so be careful of that.

Great knifes. I used them in a professional kitchen for work. The blade is sharp and has a very nice handle. Decent weight to them also, feels good in hand. The case is great and rolls up when carrying/not in use. Set has everything you basically would need. Would recommend this to any chef, line cook, or anyone at home that wants a nice knife set.

Bought this for my bf. We raise and process rabbits and needed a good set. This has been ideal for home chefs and small animal processing. Easy to take care of and a great weight. Very happy!
