How long will this keep wine for?

I have used the Vacu Vin kit for years since mid 2000's, having purchased one when I visited an English Winery & Brewery situated near Henley on Thames. They used them and gave us samples of wine opened that day 3 weeks and 5/6 weeks earlier no one could tell the difference. I am a wine drinker that is particular about what I drink I suffer badly with indigestion and would not at that point have consider drinking a wine opened the day before. Especially a white. I had to test the kit, so when of on a long jolly, I left half a bottle of Chardonnay stoppered up. for 4.5 weeks. When I very dubiously tried a few sips it wes fine I finished the bottle. NO looking back for me since. Just clean stops regularly and ensure pump until get click. Just bought my 2nd kit so lasted OK.

Does it work well also with white wines with high levels of acid and crispiness, like Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc?

Hi, I have only used this device with Red wine, but seeing as it creates a perfect vacuum, then. as there is no air in the bottle to affect the wine , then all should be fine .

Is the pump compatible with le cruset stoppers?

Sorry _ I do not know if the Vacu Vin Saver Concerto is compatible with le Cruset stoppers BUT . . . . why you would not wish to use the one-way valve stoppers which are manufactured specifically for the purpose: i.e. Vacu Vin. They are not expensive

will it work will screw tops as well as cork?

Yes. Provided you have a normal wine bottle (not Champagne type) it will work. I'm afraid that I can't comment on how long the wine will remain fresh after opening and resealing as it never stays in the bottle for long!
