Q: can you remove them and reapply

They can be removed if you gentle. I use a very thin flexible knife and cut the adhesive away sliding it between the base and latch. It doesnt mark the surfaces or damage the lock/unit. The adhesive is obviously damaged and won't stick but I buy some new double sided adhesive tape and good to go again.

Q: When the instructions say dry cure for 24 hrs is that once youve placed it on the cupboard or before. Sorry if im being dopey!! Thanks

yes, press it on and leave it for 24 hrs, my 3 and 4 year old is still defeated by this one

Hi, the dimensions are 4cm by 4cm and I've just had a look, don't think the cable can be shortened. I do think it's a brilliant thing though, I use them to lock everything even the kitchen door :)
