Is this good enough for eye protection in combat zone?

If chemistry is considered a combat zone, then yes. If paintball is your thing, well..heck, that's almost a science. They fit well, but do get a bit foggy under some considerable heat. I had to do some push ups in them (don't ask), and couldn't see for a good minute or two. Haven't shot a paintball or anything else at them for that matter. I feel like I would be able to take a paintball in them though. They feel so good on my face.

Is this product wearable over prescription glasses?

yes they fit very nicely over my glasses and i spent over 15 hours a week in the lab for the past 6 months and i highly recommend these goggles.

Would these be good for smoke protection when loading wood stove?

I would say yes. I use these in a biochemistry lab and they are to standard. They form a seal around your eyes and do not fog up easily.

Are these adjustable? Would they be too big for a middle school child?
