Easy release and great quality
I was dreading making this cake due to the shape and was worried the features would not stand out the the cake was baked but that was not the case. The cake released very easily from the tin with features intact. It was a good size and easy to clean afterwards.Very happy with the end result.Would recommend.

Great cake mould BUT....
I saw this cake tin a few days before my baby's 2nd birthday and knew I must have it to make his dino birthday cake! Initially I wanted to do the cake and decorate it as per the photo because it looks fab. Come 11pm on the night before his birthday I had still not baked the cake and thought it would be a simple matter of greasing the tin and shaking in some flour to prevent sticking. Almost an hour later, when the cake had baked and cooled, I tried to get it out of the tin. It was stuck, and no matter how I tried to unstick it, it wouldnt come away. Eventually, it came away in about 4 pieces. So, I had to start again. I wasnt risking the next one sticking so I spent the best part of 45 minutes cutting out bits of baking paper and sticking the pieces in the tin. I decided to make a chocolate cake now as i knew i wouldn't have time to decorate it like i had wanted. Anyway, the cake came out of the oven, cooled and came away from the tin perfectly. At this point, I just wanted to do simple decoration, so I followed the lines on the cake and piped on some vanilla and chocolate fudge icing. My little boy loved his cake and the way his face lit up when he saw the dino chocolate cake made staying up until 4am totally worth it 🥰I would recommend this cake tin, BUT I would recommend buying the special cake release spray too if you dont want to spend ages cutting out bits of baking paper!

It's NOT a Wilton tin, but it's not a bad tin!
Please guys, BE HONEST WHEN IT COMES TO DESCRIBING WHAT YOU'RE SELLING!!!!! This is NOT a Wilton tin you're sending out to customers. It's a NORDIC tin and it seems from reading the reviews that I'm not the only one being mis-sold here. I bought it to make 2 birthday cakes (my own and a friend's, so had to bite the bullet and use it).To review the product received though; The pan arrived earlier than was originally stated by Amazon UK & was well packaged in the box. The plastic bag that the tin was in was discoloured and quite grubby though. The tin's a decent weight & it's dark non-stick which I prefer to the lighter coloured tins as I feel that heat is distributed more evenly. The recommended weights and measures are US cups so I had to 'wing it' to use it. Initially I made a 6 egg (12oz each of butter, SR flour and sugar) mixture, filling each side up to about 3/4 full, but there was about a third of the mixture left over. I then made up a second batch using a 2 egg mix to supplement the leftover mix. I would therefore say that it's a proper 4 egg (8oz) tin. When in the oven, the mixture rises evenly to start with and then explodes through the top like a volcano (my oven is checked with a temperature gauge as well as the oven's own dial, so I know the temperature was correct). It cooked in 35 minutes. I greased the tin by brushing some vegetable oil all around the surfaces and when cooked (a properly cooked cake will start to shrink away from the sides), both cakes turned out without any problems whatsoever.I DON'T like the swirl pattern on the cupcake 'top' it's not that pretty or user friendly at all. Quite spiky swirls, not the smooth one that's pictured, which would make covering it in fondant not too glamorous! I decorated mine with piped buttercream roses as a result. The base I upturned and decorated with fondant that I'd coloured a pale brown, pressing it into the fluted edges to retain the shape of the base of the tin, which I like.In summary; yes, it's a good, heavy weight, decent quality tin, but for goodness sake - BE HONEST!!! It's NOT Wilton so don't sell it as a Wilton... please!

Would buy again
I baked a cake for the first time using these tins and I can honestly say it turned out well. I used these to cook a character birthday cake (Rowlet from Pokémon) and it was very easy to do. The two cake halves came out with no issues after cooling. They are really easy to clean afterwards. The 'feet' to hold them up in the oven were perfect, no slipping to the side etc. Very happy with purchase. I did not have contact with seller but I would buy from them again.

Makes a great looking decent sized Dinosaur cake
Very good quality cake tin, which has produced a fantastic looking cake.Comes with good instructions, even telling you how to decorate it to look like the picture on the label (looks like far too much effort for an amateur like me!), and suggests an extended cooking time. With regards to size, I used one box of Betty Crocker premixed Devil Cake (takes approx 400ml of fluid + 3 medium eggs), and it pretty much filled the mould perfectly, once cooked.I used Coconut Oil to grease the tin, and had no issues with sticking (see the pic).

Long time since I’ve baked anything and I started back with this bad boy! It was fun, had to navigate through the ratios but it came out pretty well for the first time

Perfect cake pan
This is the perfect pan for your Dino lover! My kids and all the others absolutely loved this birthday cake. Wish I had gotten a pic before I started icing, but the only small detail that didn’t come out when baking was the teeth. Nothing to complain about since it wasn’t a plain cake. Would definitely recommend. Came out super cute!
