Great hair styling tool
I was originally looking at the L'ange curling wand but even with discount and taxes/shipping it was going to run about $80. I opted for the generic tool on Amazon that looks like it and it works AMAZING! I have very fine hair and curls don't tend to stay even with a lot of product. This wand heats up very quickly and the curls are beautiful and last. The only thing I wasn't expecting is that there is a bit of a "hum" like a quiet hair dryer but that is because it cools your hair while it curls so it lasts longer. It's a bit noisy but I have grown used to it and since it takes HALF the time to curl my hair it isn't on that long. Heats up very quickly. You just wouldn't walk away for 20 minutes like you would after turning on a curling iron because of the noise. But it was definitely worth the price since it was half of what the L'ange would have cost.

Great bang for your buck
I bought the Vavoov Pro Airflow styler as a cheaper alternative to the L'ange hair straightener/curler and I was not disappointed. It heats up super fast, and is very easy to use. I have thick, shoulder length hair that typically does not hold a curl, and took forever to dry and straighten. With the vavoov, I'm able to straighten or curl my hair in 20 minutes, and it lasts all day! It took a few trial runs to figure out the right temp setting and sectioning of my hair, but after that it was a breeze. The temperature/hair type guide that it comes with is a good starting point, so I followed that and adjusted accordingly until I found the right setting. My only dislike is that it's a little loud, but anything with airflow is going to make noise. Overall this is a great purchase and I'm very happy I didn't spend $90 on a straightener!

Enjoying all the choices
Ordered as bday gift but had the benefit of trying it too. I have fine, thin hair that usually can’t hold a curl. This worked wonderfully and my hair stayed curl all day. I enjoy that it has several heat choices so I can set it my hair type. Also like that I like my flat iron I can touch outside and not get burned. Did have a slight issue of taking it in car and when I got out it was soooo hot. Hoping it was just that it sat in my car in 110+ for a few hours. Recipient also enjoying it and said it is easy to use.

Love It ❤️
Found this for a great price on Amazon, having first seen a similar one that was far more expensive direct from a company. In spite of some of the reviews, I decided to give it a try thanks to Amazon's easy return policy. (Can't say that about the other brand, and I had no idea if I'd even like this. I've tried flat irons before and couldn't work them.) No worries, this is wonderful!!! It works exactly as stated. The pictures are of my first try with the wand. You start at the top of your head, at the roots, and slide it down. Depending on how fast you slide it, the curl is tighter when you go slow or looser if you slide fast. I have mid-length hair, several inches below my shoulders and it worked well. Best to work with smaller amounts of hair. They curl better and fit in the barrell. There is a longer version but I like this size and it works fine with long hair, as I stated. Would but again. And I ordered it in the morning and got it in the afternoon. Wow, Amazon. Thanks!

4" flat iron surface
I have just past shoulder length, fairly thick, baby fine, curly, 53 year old hair. I live in SW Texas. My hair + humidity = baby fine frizzy mess. Occasionally I flat iron it just to keep it under control. Now, the airflow styler in question. Not sure what the air flow is even for because it does nothing but make noise. The one I bought didn't actually blow any air at all. Not a feature I actually want. I wanted this one for the barrel shape. The flat iron portion is barely 4", I measured it. I would have never bought it if I had seen it first. I wouldn't have bothered with such a small flat iron surface area.I tried it towel dried and completely dry hair. I was unable to complete straightening my hair with either level of dry/wet. My hair CONSTANTLY got stuck in the hinge of the barrel. When I managed to move it from root to tip (my bangs are 12") without it getting stuck in the hinge, the barrel did help make a nice wave at my scalp that helps keep bangs out of my face. The 4" iron space would be a nightmare for anyone with longer hair.Bottom line, going back.

Works OK.
Ok for the price. No matter how small a section of hair I take, it doesn't hold it securely so I have to hold it down on top while pressing the thumb area with other hand which lessens it's functionality. With a little more effort, the hair does come out straight so it does work. I also don't like that there's no power button so you have to plug it in and let the air blow while it heats up. Think a power button that turns the air on and off while it heats would be nice. But reasonable product for the price and I guess you gotta pay more for what I assumed were standard functions.

Finally curls HOLD!
Literally the first thing that has EVER held my curls. And I've tried it all. Gels, mousse, wands, irons, pinning it, overnight, hairspray, combos of all of the above, etc. Everything short of a perm. With this- I have curls for 2-3 days. I could cry!! Hair occasionally gets stuck in the groove at the connection/hinge, but once you get the hang of it, it is easy to avoid. A good dupe for the more expensive brand, and pretty much the same (other than you cannot turn off the airflow)
