Does it work on blue crab bodies for extracting the meat?

I personally could not make it work any bette than hitting the stone crab shell with a knife handle and breaking the shell. I still had to extract the meat with a small fork. I was disappointed with the product. I have only used it on stone crabs,

I like lobsters and big claws are hard to crack - how thick a lobster claw might you be able to insert and crack with this device?

Hello, Yes, you can crack large claws or lobsters. You have to put the the larger claws further back than the smaller claws. Thank you
