Awesome when bolting through plastic. For those who don't know, regular locktite blue causes stress cracks in lexan and other polycarbonates. It's really quite remarkable when you see it, as it happens quite quickly. This locktite doesn't do that but is still very effective on metal fasteners. Highly recommend when you need to lock fasteners through plastic

I purchased this non-permanent thread tightener because it is specifically designed for plastic threads. I have some drip irrigation adjustable spray heads that had loose fitting threads, prone to getting out of adjustment, so I needed to tighten them up a bit without permanently locking them. This product worked perfectly for that.

Worked like a treat holding a plastic nut onto a metal stud.I haven't put it to the full test to make sure the but wouldn't back off, but I only tightened it by hand and I wasn't able to loosen it by hand.

This is perfect for RC helicopter parts, where you can't use blue Loctite. Example, Metal ball link going into a plastic servo arm (or anything metal to plastic), often manuals will say just use CA. Bit of a warning on that, it will lock it on so tight with little working time, you'll ruin more parts than necessary.This version of Loctite will hold up well in high vibration areas, and you can still remove the part(s) without destroying anything.It's a big bottle so for as far as price goes, IMO, it cost the same as all Loctite products.Very happy with it, has a 2 minute set time, wait 24 for full strength. Yes, it does have CA in it, but is formulated not to have a high strength and a slow set time. (6 inch pounds and it will release!)If you use just standard CA you're going to end up ruining your parts when you need to replacement them. (You don't want to weld the metal parts to plastic, you want it to be able to remove it!) In my case, metal ball linkages to servo horns and bolts that go into plastic on it's frames. RC Helicopter vibrations will cause these type of connections to come loose without a vibration protection on the threads.This is the right product for the right application in my case. I use this to secure a metal ferrule to plastic. It's the only product that I could find that is specifically for this. It works quite well and is still removable even in the long term.

This is what you need if you are a drone person. DO NOT USE regular Loctite.
