If you are running any high current it may be wise to go with something more beefy. The cover is very cheap and you can mitigate this with zip ties to make sure it stays on.

Works for my purpose, but the cover only snaps into place with flimsy tabs that are difficult to get to stay in place. Overall, good value, but could be better.

The part is a reasonable value (decent quality, but is a little cheap construction) but of the 3 I have ordered, all of them came with a barcode sticker stuck directly to the clear cover, which makes a lot of work for me to remove and try to get rid of all the sticky residue. The last one I ordered only arrived with the clear cover part, and was completely missing the fuse holder base and fuse. Obviously the cover got separated from the base in the amazon warehouse and when the order was fulfilled they only grabbed the part that had the barcode label. These packaging issues will make me buy elsewhere. I have an ongoing need for unbranded fuse holders in my business, but the packaging creates too many complication to be a reliable source.Probably fine if you’re only buying for a one off job.

I am using my alternator to charge the house battery in the van build. This is pretty nicely built - the glass case is pretty solid. Recommended.

I installed this for a Renogy DCC50S DC-DC MPPT On-Board Battery Charger. I expect it will work if needed. Looks pretty. As expected.
