Q: can you use these batteries to operate a LED motion sensor light?

if the motion sensing light is a battery powered motion sensing light that takes AAA batteries and you have a way to charge them you can. However, I'd totally stay away from the Bonai batteries. My experience with them has been bad, and I wouldn't want you to think that this answer in any way endorses the purchase of these batteries.

My understanding that all of the rechargeable batteries in the AA and AAA are the 1.2 voltage. No problem, been using for years. Carl.

Sorry not sure I understand your words here - solar lights bought at Home Depot is not regulated as far as I know. When I had mine I either changed the batteries or used rechargeable batteries. Hope this helps

Well how many amps is it pulling, is it running 24/7? Overnight? 8-10 hours? I use them in a finger print scanner and out door lights. The scanner 3 weeks to a month. Outdoor lights three to four days
