Does the lid fit snug enough to use for dog food storage?

If you are storing dog food in it, just keep the food in the original bag and seal in bag the hide that in container. I wouldn’t dump the foot directly into the bin.

The lid is not snug at all, the wood just sits on top of the metal. I put dogfood in a sealed bag inside of this and it works fine.
