This dash cam has been a huge disappointment. Despite advertising 4K video for the front camera, the actual quality is far below expectations , closer to 1080p at 30fps, with grainy, unclear footage. Even in perfect conditions, it struggles to capture cars license plates or signs in streets, and the rear and interior cameras are worse, with low-resolution 640x480 video. The app is buggy, frequently disconnecting, and the setup instructions were vague, making the installation process frustrating.In addition, poor adhesive tape, and mounting kit does not hold firmlyThe misleading specs and unreliable performance make this dash cam somehow waste of money.Save yourself the hassle and avoid this model entirely.

I had purchased the 2.5K version of the dash cam about a year ago and have been happy with it. However, when I saw the 4K version, I decided to get this dash cam for my other vehicle. The purchase came as expected with the unit and the accessories identified. Installation and setup didn’t take long to complete. It’s only been about a week using the dash cam so I am still learning all of the features and figuring things out. No complaints so far.The video quality and ease of use is clear and very good. It is an excellent purchase for the price. I am going to reinstall this 4K dash cam in my kids’ car and put the 2.5K version in my car until I decide to buy another one. Knowing that this dash cam is there helping my young kid drivers is very comforting. I’ve heard horror stories from other parents where their child was in an accident or someone rear-ended their car and tried to deny it.

I bought this dash cam hoping for a reliable setup with good video quality and coverage, but unfortunately, it hasn’t met expectations. Installation wasn’t too difficult, but the instructions were vague, especially when it came to setting up the WiFi and app. The app itself is buggy and often disconnects.The video quality is underwhelming. While it advertises 4K for the front camera, the footage isn’t as clear as expected license plates are hard to read unless the car is very close. The rear and interior cameras are also lower quality and struggle in low light.My biggest concern is that the camera sometimes fails to record or turns off without warning. I noticed several instances where video files were missing or incomplete, which defeats the purpose of having a dash cam at all.Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this model. It has potential, but the performance and reliability just aren’t there.

Camera was easy to install, the plastic tool used to tuck the wire is very helpful. It starts right up every time the car starts and turns off when car is turned off. The 4k quality I’m not so sure about. In the day its pretty clear, can’t read license plates but whatever. At night its not so clear, especially the interior cam it catches absolutely nothing which is important for my safety as a lyft driver. It is a good size, and I barely see it behind my rearview mirror.Giving 3 stars because the first one I bought came literally broken in 2 pieces. They sent me a replacement in 2 days and I appreciate that. Other reason is because the app worked once during the initial set up, but hasn’t worked since. So, in case of an accident, I don’t think I’ll be anle to just view it in the app. Might have to take the SD card out and find a way to get that footage.**Almost forgot**I’m pretty sure the 24/7 parking monitor or recording feature doesn’t work. The camera literally turns off the moment you turn the car off.

So far so good. I wish that the inside facing camera had more angular freedom, but that's okay. The fewer moving parts is usually better since it means less things to break. That inside facing camera should probably be a wide angle camera for next time, as this one is not enough to see everyone in the car at the same time.The main camera and rear camera are good. No issues there. I had more than enough line for an install in a small sedan. The power cord and rear camera wire may need to be longer for a truck though.The quality of the video on the screen doesn't look too great, but I'll update the review when I view the footage on a computer. The footage is probably quite smooth.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Please believe all the 1 star reviews. This dashcam is awful and a waste of money. Frankly, I am astounded that they have been able to get away such misleading product descriptions. I ordered two and set them up in both of my cars. Both of them had the same crap quality so it's not like this was a situation where I happened to get a bad dashcam.On the front facing camera, the quality of video is 1920 x 1080 and a 30 fps. Not even remotely close to 4k. Cabin is 640 x 480 and 30 fps. Rear cam is 640 x 480 and 30 fps.Even in perfect conditions with the vehicle being stationary and the other cars also being stations, neither front nor rear cams can even pick up what a plate of a nearby car is. And thats with ALL cars being parked.While driving all the cams are grainy and overall suck. I can't even make out the street signs while parked, can't even make out the name Wendys.You can find a similar quality dashcam on other sites for roughly 12-17 dollars which way less than this piece of crap listing.See images attaches in support of this review.

The camera just stopped working this morning, July 25 2025. I was preparing to return for a replacement and I am past my return date of July 24 2025. I will try to see if I can make it work again. The micro SD card is functional.****UPDATE**** I left the unit unplugged for a couple of hours and it is working, only the front and interior. The rear camera is currently not functioning.
