This was a free product. However, I have no incentive to be biased towards or against this product.This transforming set is an interesting one. You get two cars that, when put together, make a horse like dinosaur. And, this is where I am conflicted.If one of the cars "runs into" the back of the other car, a transformation to the dinosaur automatically happens. This takes out the puzzle of how to orient the different parts that make up the final form. However, some transforming toys tend to be extremely complicated for the age range that they target.You still have to figure out how to put the cars back to their original form. So your kids will be able to spend more time playing and have less down time doing the initial transformation. I can live with that.Both cars seem really well made. Though the hood on one of them is a bit tricky getting back in place when going back to car form. The wheels are smaller than what I feel they should be, given the size of the cars. Otherwise, I highly recommend this to anyone with a 3 year old or older kid.

This is a relatively compact toy that I am sure will entertain several boys in my orbit. The product comes in a nicely decorated box, set up initially as two small cars. They are decorated nicely and are about the durability that you see with toys these days. Be aware that the product is small (the box holding both cars is only about 5" x 4.5" x 1.5"). This is a size that would easily fit in a Christmas stocking or Easter basket.I understand from reading the listing AND watching the videos that the item is played with by rear-ending one car into the other one with either a dragon or dinosaur instantly springing up (depending on which car is at the back). I'm CERTAIN this part will make a big hit. The figure can then be pulled apart and "transformed" back into 2 cars. I recall our son and his friends being mesmerized by Transformers when they were similar ages so I am fairly confident this part will also make a hit (once it's figured out...but I'm guessing their Dad will be able to help with that).I would recommend that the seller add some directions either as a paper insert or as clearly identified info on the box. The only directions I could find was a statement on the back of the box in the upper left corner (under a photo of 2 cars in about 3 Font) stating: "Shoot car a to the back of car B and instantly change to robot mode." This will not make a lot of sense to an 8-year old & this Senior Lady really had to hunt for it.This would be a good travel toy due to it's size and plus it won't take up a lot of storage space. The current price is $21, which is high IMO.

My grandson's loved this toy but it did not perform as shown in video. When the car crashed into the other car to make it transform, it did not work. In order to get it to transform, they had to literally throw it on the carpet, sometimes several times. They are boys and they are rough so when using this toy to battle with other figures, it already broke. It only lasted one day and then I had two very disappointed kids. While it got many good reviews, I found it to be a waste of money.

I got this set because it reminded me of the 80s "Jumpstarter" toys I had seen in Japan. This starts as 2 little cars, but when they "crash" by one "rear ending" the other, stand back! The 2 cars transform into a dragon! It does fly up and move quickly, so this toy would be best for age 10 and over. Once transformed, you can reform the 2 parts back into cars, ready to crash and change again. It's rather mesmerizing, and gives me glee. Well made toys, but treat the moving parts with care as you put the dragon back to car mode so it will continue to work. Another item that husband grabbed and ran away with, but I followed and we played with these cars for far too long lol. Watch the videos for how fast the cars transform, as well as how to "refold" the cars. Hours of fun, we're very happy with this unique toy.

This snappy fun transforming toy is definitely unique and makes for a fun gift. Initial setup/assembly was simple enough, and getting the functionality of the transformation to work was easy. After performing the transformations a few times, I’d question the long term durability of the toy especially with the moving parts. Overall, it’s a cool toy at a reasonable value for the money, but the durability and functionality may be questionable over time.

The media could not be loaded. Really cool transformer car. Never seen one like this they just snap onto each other and everything just pops right out. Kind of wish we had these as a kid. Now after they transform and you have to fold everything back up for it to do it again. One car just folds right back and snaps in. The other one you kinda have to hold everything in place and close the doors to hold it all together. Have a feeling that part might be tricky for smaller kids. They quality isn’t bad on these but I wouldn’t say it’s top notch. Everything works really well but I really can’t see these cars making it more than year or 2. You can see the small joints and metal springs that make everything flip out not saying they are bad or anything just seen these builds before and I know how it goes after a couple years if kids forcing pieces back together and all. Still I give 5 stars really cool and innovative design.

Its a fun toy but its small and feels pretty cheap. It for sure will not last long. Once it transforms we had a hard time putting both cars back into place completely which makes me think it will break soon.

This has to be one of the coolest transforming toys I have ever seen. I couldn't wait to get this for my son who loves transformers and dragons/Kaiju. It is easy to transform back and forth, and looks amazing! The only thing I would suggest is that make sure the recipient is careful with their toys as the parts aren't as strong as I have seen before and might break under heavy use. Overall very happy with the concept and the use!
