Saw more expensive styles, purchased this. Sharpened my pocket knife Sharp! Takes time. Use light touch, like holding a feather. Used it as I watched tv. Take your time, slow and steady. Got my knife Sharp. Very happy, strong design, seems like it will last long, if I take good care of it. I would recommend

Easy to use, functions nicely.

I think what stands out, it is how easy it is to use. I don't even need to look for instruction, I don't need to worry about which direction or orientation (of course, just the sharp side downward). It also doesn't take long to sharpen my knives. I tried it on those relative bigger one for cutting meat and those small one for cutting fruit, works great.

I was very skeptical in ordering an "As seen on TV" product, but I'm pleasantly surprised with how well this product did. From order to delivery the process was very smooth and had very quick shipping. I was very happy with that, the tracking provided, and how the process went.When I got the product, I tried cutting something first without sharpening it, and then after sharpening it. It really does work like the infomercial. I was surprised at how easy it was to sharpen the knives in my house! I did about 5 knives in 2 minutes tops. Thats from opening the box to finished sharpening.It seems really well made. The springs, hardware, and everything involved actually seems built to last (which surprised me in a throw away world). I was pleasantly surprised at the way it worked, its ability to actually sharpen the knives, and its storability as it isn't too big or too bulky.I would def buy from this seller again and even gift these items because they are different, usable, and pretty handy. All in all I like it.

It worked fine for a couple of months, then it got harder to sharpen knives properly. I myself would not purchase this item again.

Got this a few months back. I ended up using 2 quick clamps and a pad to mount it firmly to my dining room table. Once I got started it was almost addictive. You need to feel the drag-the friction. You can feel where the sharpener is cutting and where the blade is already sharp and is just sliding through. When you get the sale pull from but to tip you are there. Don't apply much pressure, simply glide the blade evenly and consistently through the stroke. All 2 edge sharpeners like this leave a burr on the knife edges I use a fine grit sharpening rod to put the finishing touch. A near razor sharp edge on all my knives. REMEMBER-that consistent drawing action, until the friction feels the sale hilt to tip is the key. I started with oil whetstone as a kid, and 50 years later this is my favorite sharpener. A dull knife is worthless and much more dangerous that a sharp knife properly applied. Highly recommended from a 50 year knife guy.

It is a sharpener, it worked but, you have to work for a good edge. If it has a small knick in it, it's not going to remove that. It does ok.

Put a great edge on my knives. It’s the only one I use and I’ve tried many others.

This is NOT the Bavarian Edge, it is a cheap imposter. I just tried to sharpen my chef knife and it didn't do anything. It looks and feels like it's made of plastic. I will be returning it right away.

Item took 6 weeks to arrive.Was poorly packaged and the box was destroyed as a result. A part has fallen out in the process.Overall made of cheap plastic so when you place your knife in the slot it’s easy to nick the plastic arms and shred it.It sharpens okay.—Update: Seller provided a full refund.
