I just received the book today. I was so excited because I found that I had my baby watching tv or using her tablet more than anything else. She loves books but started to tear and eat a few of them so naturally I became discouraged with reading to her. Then I remembered seeing the cloth books while I was pregnant with her. I came across this in my search and was happy with the reviews.I washed it first because my 1 yrs old is teething and puts EVERYTHING in her mouth. It washed and dried very well. I couldnt wait to read to her and she was super enthused and entertained. She particularly liked the lil piggy tail and peekaboo with the cow. She was a little timid of holding it at first but it wont be long before it's in her mouth like everything else.I think they have a collection and will order more. I would recommend this to other parents and its something that I think people can appreciate as a gift, I know I would.

Soft fabric book very cute and safe for baby

I purchased this item for a baby shower and It seems to be well made and very appealing. I am sure the baby will enjoy it.My grandchildren are all over the age of twenty now but I can assure you that reading to children is extremely important. With very early books try to stay on each page until the child's eyes lose interest. This helps to train the child to have a longer period of concentration. If you allow a young child to watch television, their eyes get used to seeing a change of picture every six seconds and it will lessen the child's interest in reading once they grow past the picture book stage. My grandchildren were all able to read for hours at a time even when still in grammar school. They are all avid readers and always made the dean's list in college. Reading is the key to success.For the sake of your children, please limit their exposure to electronic devices.
