Q: How do you clean this after cooking say, soup, if you cant immerse the whole thing in water in the sink? Does the soup stick to the steel hotplate?

I just wash it like I'd be making a soup. warm up a little soapy water, sponge a little and your good to go. It's a silicon bottom, so no food does not stick to it. It is a great little travel cooking pot.

Q: Hello! How long does it take to boil water?

I tried in the US (110v, but I guess 220v will be the same), max water level, it took around 5 minutes.

Q: Does it have the steamer rack?

Yes it comes with a plastic steamer rack. However, once the rack is placed, you have a lot less space above the rack to place your food. It almost cuts the capacity by 30%.

Q: does this pot come with three or four settings? the picture shows four. is this accurate? off, heat preservation, slow stew, quick cook?

Technically two heating setting. You can set it "slow" or "quick" and then "off". Both is boiling function, no heat preservation or slow stew.
