Q: What the shelf life of these?

USDA claims unopened dry pasta shelf life is 2 years, while opened dry pasta is 1 year. It can go well past 2 years, but if it smells funny then toss it! Additionally freezing or refrigeration does not extend shelf life.

Q: Why did barilla discontinue selling large shells.why my question it's not being answered i'm curious why large shell got discontinued.

Well, I'm not sure, but it could be because they weren't selling enough to warrant making them. Or maybe they will replace it with something else. I'm just guessing, might try contacting Barilla and ask them.
