John Christian Men's Hooded Fleece Robe, Blue Marl

I don't love it. The material is thinner than the robe it's replacing so that was disappointing. For some reason I expected the lining of the hood to be a different material, thicker and more plush maybe, than the rest of the robe. Maybe because my mom had one like that growing up. But it's the same thin material as the rest of the robe.The hood has some other weirdness too. The inner lining and outer fabric separate. Moreover there seems to be something inside, maybe a third layer for warmth or cushion, that clump up. The best way I can describe it is like a comforter that has been washed and bunches up inside. It's also cut weirs in my opinion. The sides spread out instead of hug your face. My neck would have to be a foot long for it to fit right.It won't stay closed either. Unless I tie it uncomfortable tight it works it's way open in short order leaving me uncovered and failing to keep me warm. It's definitely not as warm as I'd hoped.

If you look at the model in the picture - gown spread open to chow his chest, hood down over his eyes - it;s a good look, but you might not realize this is exactly how it fits everyone - the cut means it falls open to mid-chest, and the hood reaches down to my chin in front. I just look silly - YMMV.

Very soft and warm. I am a six foot 220 pound man and there is plenty of room, the sleeves go to my wrists and the length goes to the top of my calves.

For the price, Im not sure you can beat this robe. Others have said the material is thin, and it probably is compared to a heavy cotton robe. But The fleece is SO warm, you don’t need a thick robe. Love the super soft accents too. Also, didn’t think I wanted a hooded robe, but it’s really comfy! Zero regrets!!! (5’9”, 165, 30waist: Medium fits perfectly, sleeves not too long, waist is fine)

My husband loves this! I would recommend buying a size larger than normal if you are tall. It’s a little short on my 6’3” husband.

Needed a Hot Tub Robe, Fleece is a tiny bit clingy, but super comfy and soft. Keeps warm. Wisks water off.

Reading reviews I wanted a chunky thick robe. This isn't it. It's a very nice soft material. The hood is a nice feature. This is more of a summer robe and not one to keep out the winter chills unless you have a thick jumper underneath. It should be at least £5 cheaper than the retail price. But if like me you can't be bother trailing the shops to try before buying. I will be keeping it. For warmer days.

Gift for a family member. The material, although soft, is thinner than I expected and washing instructions fussy. No tumble dry, no iron, 30deg only. Hood is best feature. Price a little high for quality. But recipient happy and that's the main thing.

Love this dressing gown, it's warm, comfortable and looks cool. Sadly it generates enough static electricity to power a small village. Nevertheless, it's great.!!

Looks very cheap, poor quality, poor stitching, I spent more wanting an excellent quality present but was very disappointed and it looked like something you buy for £ 1.99 from the market and I can't leave no stars.... Very disappointed
