Very nice sound
Bought these to upgrade my 27 year old speakers in my e36, very pleased with the product, I'll get some inphase 6x9s for the rear next.

My amp doesn't do these speakers justice..
I paired these 6x9's with a £40 12v amp for my car, and I have to say I am pleasantly surprised by the sound quality. They are not pushed anywhere near their limit by the cheap amp(40w X2 RMS) but have been boxed and sit all the way at the back of my estate and it's all good. I now have the bass that was missing before.

Good for the price
Got these as my standard speakers lacked bass. Fitted these to the parcel shelf and now I have some bass, not subwoofer lows but definitely boosted my low end and they are quite loud too running from my kenwood head unit.

Good quality - could stand a bit more treble
I squeezed these into an existing car space so a little fiddle with that BUT worked well out of the box - - clearly ooodles of power handling capable , bass prevalent even though small diameter

Cover Grills Don't Stay On, fitting instructions useless.
I find the sound quality excellent and good value for money.Unfortunately the fitting of the cover grill is useless. My speakers are fitted in the footwell near the door, so need the protective grill. Having pushed the grills on, they just keep falling off. I have tried making the fit tighter this doesn't work. In Phase have no clear idea how to fix this, and the fitting instructions are no help.I am debating whether to keep them. I threw away the original box after the fit, not expecting this problem.

Poor quality build In Phase

Mediocre at best.
I've seen some positive reviews for these speakers and to be honest I wasn't familiar with the brand so took a gamble based on the reviews. These speakers are not great. The build quality is good and the fitment is very easy but the important part is the sound quality and it's below average. The sound lacks any real definition and is muddy to the point of trying just about every equalisation trick in the book to brighten it up. I have a multi speaker system so I can compare them directly with the other speakers and these are inferior. There are far better speakers available, even at the price point.
