Great for small spaces
As a mom trying to fit our second kid into an ever shrinking space, this is pretty much exactly what I was looking for: something the size of a mini-crib or bassinet, but that will be more versatile over time, like a pack and play. I almost got the graco travel lite crib, similarly priced. I think I'll keep this one. If I cared more about portability and travel friendliness, I might give the other one a try.Pros: Compact size -- perfect for our small bedroom. Sets up even more easily than a pack and play. Feels pretty solid and well-made; time will tell, but nothing appears flimsy or cheap. Except maybe the carrying case, whose material is a little thin. I do also really prefer the style and the neutral color of this, as opposed to the more colorful play yards. Best of all, since the mattress lowers all the way to the play yard position, this thing will be useful far beyond the newborn days.Cons: It does not fold up as compactly as a pack and play. It fits in the trunk of my small car, but the thin/flat rectangular shape is awkward, if you have other luggage to fit in. The biggest drawback I see so far though is the sheet situation. The mattress pad cover, like most, is going to be too inconvenient to remove and wash regularly. Being able to put removable, washable liners and sheets on top is a must. If you're using this in the bassinet (raised mattress) position, then the mattress has to be zipped into the sides of the crib. This leaves very little room for a fitted sheet to tuck behind the edges of the mattress. However, I think with the right sheets, there is just enough room to make it work. If you're only going to use this in the lower play yard position, then there should be no problem, as the mattress doesn't need to be zipped in that way.Amazon sells American Baby Company 18x36 fitted cradle sheets that fit pretty well for me. I can manage to tuck the the sheet under the mattress pad (but still on top of the hard board.) It takes a minute to tuck all the excess fabric away, but it works. If you want to use a waterproof liner/cover underneath the sheet, I'd use a flat one, not a fitted one. The crib comes with one, which seems decent, but I think you'll want backups. I will probably just use some old full crib sized pads and trim them down with scissors.I'll try to remember to update as time goes by, but I feel pretty good about this purchase.

Glad I tried this!
I'm surprised this doesn't have more reviews. I took the gamble with purchasing something with only one review (I NEVER do that!) and I am so glad I did!We needed a portable crib for our baby when she stays with her grandparents, and a pack and play wouldn't work as it is too low for them to lay her down in. I needed something safe, large enough for a growing baby, but still tall enough for ease of use. I'm super glad we got this travel crib. This is STUPID EASY to set up and convert from a crib to playard. No assembly required, it comes in it's travel bag pretty much ready to go. My baby is 4.5 months, 14 pounds and 24 inches long. She has plenty of room to grow in this and the sides are tall enough in the crib position to last her a while. This is a sturdy well made product. I don't regret this purchase at all!

Ok bassinet.
Edited: we are returning this item. The "mattress" is simply too thin and unsteady and my baby hates it. I've resorted to sleeping on the couch with her because she likes the firm, soft, sturdy couch cushions. We moved the big crib into our room so hopefully she sleeps better on that. Our baby is almost 3 weeks old. I ordered this bassinet specifically because of how roomy it was, but mostly because there was no fold/crease in the mattress (comparable products had this as a major issue) and because of the mesh outer. Breathability is of utmost importance to prevent SIDS. Other products did not have enough mesh to allow air flow. Baby seems to like it for 3 hour periods on *some* nights, but newborns are newborns. :)The only thing I sort of dislike is that I feel the mattress isn't solidly clicked in enough...because the bottom "snaps", it's held in place by equal tension, it makes me feel like the mattress is sort of wobbly like a rope bridge is. It is hard to explain. It doesn't matter with a newborn who does not move much but will matter in a few months. Small design flaw.Aesthetically, I like the color scheme and general minimalism of this design, which I also considered before purchasing.

Great bassinet!
This bassinet is the cutest! I love it so much more than the pack n play we used for our now 5 & 3 year olds. Obviously it’s smaller, but that makes it easier for traveling and cozier for sleeping. It takes SECONDS to set up, and fold down, which is a huge bonus. Our 5 month old baby slept so well in it, and when she’s too big for the bassinet, we’ll move the mattress down lower for continued use. I’m happy with the mattress and the breathable sides, as well. Travel bag is thin, but still seems durable with nice, large handles. Great purchase!

Perfect Size For My Needs
So very easy to assemble - there is no assembly! Just falls into place. The size is perfect for both the bassinet and the deeper playard. I especially like the bassinet because it is the largest of all the placards I researched. The structure is solid and I feel very confident it will take the weight of my growing grandson. I like the smaller footprint. I am the grandmother and I watch my grandson 2 days a week. I didn't want to set up a full nursery. This playard (which doubles as a crib) doesn't take up a lot of space in my living room. Very easy to move around when I am in another area of the house. I don't consider this playard a good travel unit. It collapses very easy but is quite bulky to carry around. I would be concerned baggage checking it on an airline and getting damaged.

Perfect Bassett and playpen
This is perfect. It’s easy to fold and lies flat fits perfectly in trunk. It came out of the box assembled. In the spot under the Bassett stage you can store things with an easy open zipper area. The rock feature is wonderful. I would buy this again.

Easy setup! Kind of large when folded up.
This bassinet is so easy to set up! Takes just a few seconds to set up which is nice. My only issue is I assumed it folded smaller for travel, but we will still get a lot of use out of it!
