Lovely laundry basket, nice size

I chose a square basket to allow me to fold washing items into the basket from drying on the line. The shape also gives maximum capacity for the the storage space it takes up.My baskets usually break when they get brittle through age and sun damage. I can’t comment on this one’s durability as it’s its first season?

It's a good size, nice colour, and nests with the other laundry basket in the same range. Easy to use, lightweight, and fits in the top of our laundry hamper, so stays tidily away. I'd buy another one, only I don't need another, so that would be just silly.

A good size to fit under the washing machine door for easy unloading of laundry to take to the line and sufficiently large to accommodate a full load from a high capacity machine. Mine is for use alongside a virtually identical version (just a different colour) that has been in use for about ten years; it feels just as well made as the original and hopefully will last at least as long (and one stacks neatly inside the other, making storage a breeze). The surface is smooth to the touch and is easy to wipe clean when necessary. I have found having two of these baskets is ideal if you peg out on a line as it means you can place dry laundry in one whilst pegging out wet laundry in its place from the second, which saves a bit of time.
