Wow!! Incredible, but requires work to get there.....
Out of the box, this laptop was not performing. Bad drivers, bloatware, etc. But, a little time, and some patience, and this is one of the best laptops out there with a 2070/2080 RTX. Better than Razer, Alienware and most others in it's class. Better NVME drives, larger capacity (1TB vs. 500GB) better memory and easy to upgrade. Here is my suggestion:1. Install another 16gb stick of ram. It ships with 16gb on a single stick. This is single channel. The motherboard has an empty slot, and by adding another 16gb stick, you gain the benefits of dual channel ram.2. Reinstall a clean version of windows. It's easy. You can do it by simply pressing f9 when you get the laptop and selecting to do a fresh install. Once loaded, Install new Nvidia drivers and a few others and you are good. Make sure you update to the latest October update of Windows.3. I added another 1TB SSD. Why? It's cheap. Another 130 bucks gets you a total of 2 TB if High end, SSD Storage.Once complete, set the fans to auto using the Smart Manager software and that's it. I continually benchmark in the high 85th to 90th percentile using most of the 3Dmark tests. Valley and Heaven are also scoring high as well.Great system, great company and rock solid performance. Beautiful LG 144hz screen is the icing on the cake. The keyboard is awesome and love the LED Backlighting. Full Color (16 Million +) LED backlit keyboard allows full customization of the color schemes and templates. This is my 5th Gigabyte laptop. They have all gotten better and better. This is an amazing system. 6-7 hrs on battery with light use, and around 3hrs with heavy gaming.Don't worry, just buy it. It's the best out there!

Great performance for the size, but has some quirks
I've been using this laptop for almost 2 weeks now, and I have to say it is quite impressive in terms of how light and thin the chassis is and how much top shelf hardware it contains. The portability and thinness is a big factor for me, so that is definitely a plus. Now for the performance.I have a unit with 8750H CPU and RTX 2070MQ. Important note: this config comes with 1 stick of RAM. You need to add another one yourself if you want dual channel, and it does make a big difference. Performs as well as I expected it too, which is to say that it shreds games and keeps the framer rates high at all times. However, the top right keyboard area does get VERY hot. That's where the GPU is and you can tell that it can't quite unleash the fullest potential with the chassis and the cooling provided. It doesn't throttle, but it is damn close to it, so cleaning the laptop fans after some time is essential for getting stable performance. Now for the absolutely awesome stuff. Getting inside the laptop is relatively easy, just a t5 screwdriver needed for that. Having an accessible second NVMe slot is a godsend and a feature that played a major part in me choosing the Aero 15 over other laptops. For a very affordable price I painlessly upgraded to 2TB of NVMe storage and 32GB of RAM.The display is gorgeous, no complaints in color accuracy for me. 144 HZ is a must have now. My unit came with exactly 1 dead pixel though, which is not a big deal for me, but if you are OCD and pixel peep I'd imagine that would be frustrating.Lastly, I don't know how important the web cam is for you, but the location is far from ideal if you plan to use it often.Overall - a great buy for me, with a couple quirks that don't spoil the experience as a whole. Recommended.

perfect blind of Power and professional - Rtx 2070 version
First i purchased a MSI gtx 1070 17" laptop before this one but had to return it due to bulk and under performance. After doing a lot more research i decided to give this one a shot. From the start I was blown away by the screen quality and performance. This laptop is light / compact / and a powerhouse.Pros:-solid professional built *not like most flashy but flimsy gaming laptops*-Great battery life when doing normal surfing and business functions-bright beautiful 1080p 144hz IPS LG screen looks better than most 4k screens-RTX 2070 version plays any game thrown at it with ease on max settings-144hz refresh rate makes even browsing better with its buttery smoothnessCons-Camera not that great and angled weird *do not care about this one but others might*-The keyboard takes a little getting use to *scrunched over to make everything fit more compact*-Gaming battery life not great *still better than the competition*

Mildly Underwhelming
The hardware specs are pretty great, I got the i7 8750h, rtx2070, and 4K screen. In terms of performance, it’s very good for a laptop. The screen, however, is an *enormous* letdown. Everything I have uses a 4K screen, so I wanted a 4K laptop to match, plus I primarily do productivity-oriented things, so it made sense for me. But the smearing is so bad. It’s insane to me this screen ever made it into a consumer product, much less one this price aimed at content creators. I assume the 1080p one is better, but I haven’t tried it.The battery life is very meh. About what you’d expect for the specs. The keyboard is very meh as well. Most laptop keyboard are to me, so I’m maybe not the best to ask for an opinion there, but including the numpad and squishing all the other keys makes typing very hard for people like me with big hands. Cannot Touch type, plus keys stick and repeat until you pry them back out.If you plan to use this as a usually-docked, occasionally-mobile computer, with seperate peripherals and screen, it can be really good. I used it like this and enjoyed it quite a lot. But the built in screen and keyboard leave a lot to be desired.
