Rexel Momentum S206 Strip Cut Paper Shredder, Shreds 6 Sheets, 9 Litre Bin, Black, 2104568

I read instructions on manual working fine.i am pleased. Also item safe packed.THANK YIU TO SELLER*****..But delivery men came on Sunday knock once I went to door to open.then I saw parcel left on the door step. Didn't like it.leave on the door step.i am on the main road. Men is on hurry deliver men. I really like receive item on me hand safe and say to him thank you. BUT HE DIDN'T HAND ON ME LEFT ON THE STEP RUN RUN A WAY..

1. Package was open on delivery. There appeared to be an attempt to re-seal but the tape was not sticking to the package.2. Instructions clearly state that no lubricant should be used on this machine yet the sales description recommended that I purchase lubricant with the product. Unfortunately, I bought it.3. Instructions state "Maximum 5 sheets". Any more than 3 ordinary sheets caused the shredder to jam.4. Due to the small bin, the strips of normal A4 paper stood upright in the bin causing the shredder to jam after 6 sheets.5. Shredder was also liable to skew sheets causing the shredder to jam.6. Solutions to jamming in the instructions are a joke. None of them work which means that after 2 days use ( 6 hours in total), I have managed to shred 32 sheets. Most of my time was trying to clear jammed paper.7.

If you just want to shred paperwork that you get in your house it's fine, no good for a lot of paperwork it tends to get jammed if used to shred lots of paper continuously.

I have just completed shredding a whole basket full of confidential papers. I did it gradually throughout the day yesterday, and it is very satisfying to have got it all done. The instructions say you should only use it for 3 mins continuously which is why I took all day over it!Nothing jammed at all and it is very easy to use.The strips are a quarter of an inch wide, so it would not be good for state secrets. However, I think no-one would really bother to put it all back together, especially after my grand children's hamster has chewed it all up to make itself a nest – a little at a time. I was surprised at the volume of shreds that there are. Consequently, the shredder box fills up very quickly indeed.The instructions tell you to use reverse sparingly. However, when I first tried to switch it off, I inadvertently got it into reverse. This could be a drawback, except that it is really easier to simply leave the shredder switch on automatic, and switch it off at the plug instead. I like to do this when emptying it. I haven't yet needed to oil it or anything so cannot comment on that side of things. I would just say it is definitely a home shredder and not an office one. I am very pleased with it.

Nice and slim and good price. Used it for about a minute and it was extremely loud, then it suddenly stopped working? Waited awhile in case it had got too hot, but unfortunately it only seemed to work in reverse and nothing else. Gave up in the end and sent it back and got a full refund. All very strange… I have to admit when I first opened it there was already paper stuck in it and it did appeal to look like it had already been used 🤔🤔🤔

This product works well and so far no problems.

I had about 2 carrier bags of shredding to do , mainly payslips old tax forms nothing too taxing. Payslips are folded and sealed type about 3 sheets thick. After about 30 sheets it jammed, then fed half the bin back out and got stuck in the rollers. Cleared that eventually and the auto feed sensor was broken stuck on.Took it apart I'm not one to return basic things it's just cutters on rollers, so cleared all the paper out cleaned it up. Reassembled. The paper feed sensor is flimsy plastic on a microswitch although still intact it's stuck on with nothing interfering so must have bend the plastic in the first jamIt then did about another 15 pay slips and jammed again. Really jammed so had to take it apart again, cleared it all out.Did another 4-5 sheets of tax forms single A4 and jammed, reversed it gummed it all up and overheated. It's now been sat cooling down. So it's a preice crap. But it's cheap and will prably do you for the odd bank statement.Took it apart to many times to return it so if you have a chunk of shredding to do buy something more expensive.

keine angabe dass ein amerikanischer strmstecker bei ist noch das dieser schon gebraucht war. Es kann dpch nicht sein dass man so verarscht wird.

Ich habe mit diesen Artikel bisher sehr gute Erfahrungen gesammelt. Doch leider war ich bei der Lieferung schon ein wenig misstrauisch. Der Verpackungskarton war 20 fach mit Klebeband umwickelt wo ich schon dachte ohhh was erwartet mich nur im inneren. Karton geöffnet und schon flogen mir einzelne Karton Seiten um die Ohren (abgerissen). Ich holte das Produkt aus der Verpackung und war erst erstaunt doch dann als ich die Verblendung dran machen wollte war ein Stück plaste wo das teil eingeführt wird abgebrochen und somit unbrauchbar. Für mich privat ist es ok funktioniert auch ohne das Teil einwandfrei. Trotzdem hat es mich geärgert.
