Great introduction to Chinese medicine
I loved this book and found it really easy to read and a great way to learn about Chinese medicine if like myself you didn't know too much before on this subject. Katie has explained it all clearly and well. I have already started doing some of what has been suggested and feeling better for it. Having read the book cover to cover I will now dip in and out and use it as a reference book. Loved the cover too so calming and pretty!

Chinese medicine as easy as 1,2,3
Was excited to receive this book and have not been disappointed. Such interesting and great content that is written in a way that anyone can understand, and therefore is perfect for someone who is completely new to or has limited knowledge of Chinese medicine.Have been trying out the techniques for a week or so now and I feel that it has helped me to be calmer already!

I did feel like I was reading an e-book
It’s a nice book and an introduction to Yang Sheng. Although I took away some effective points for self care, I did feel like I was reading an e-book. Small portions of a topic with no expansion of the hows, whys, benefits, pros or cons. Nonetheless it’s been an easy, pleasant book to read.

Excellent introduction to Chinese self care practices
Love this book. It is a great, accessible and beautiful introduction to many of the Chinese self care practices that can make such a difference to how we look and feel inside and out. If you’re interested in living seasonally to a ripe old age and keeping yourself fit, flexible and glowing (and who isn’t?!) then I would highly recommend exploring some of the ideas and practices explained in this book.

Uplifting with nice illustrations
It is actually a nice uplifting book with pleasant illustrations and plenty of techniques etc to trial out. The writer is very positive about what they’ve written and the techniques included but sadly that’s the issue I have with it: the writer is exclusively positive. It would have been better to have been more balanced and provided an objective look at each technique and have expanded on scientific evidence. Instead everything is discussed from a super rose tinted view and includes “the shear brilliance of this” style descriptions without being backed up.

I love this book
This book is the book i turn to for any sort of self healing, it's absolutely fantastic. Very well written and it really does help. Something so simple as breathing techniques, I've started to use them in my working environment also and getting lots of good feedback. Excellent book and for someone who has an interest in self healing, Chinese medicine and self help it's top of my list.
