If I wanted to open it to engrave the flask, would it be easy to reseal or will I mess up the packaging?

Totes easy. It's been a while, but I think mine came with the flask in a loose shrink wrap. I took it out just to look it over before giving it as a gift, and it was super easy to put back. Dang it, though. Now I'm thinking I should have engraved it. :-P
