I got these trays primarily for the purpose of using in an Old Fashioned glass. They worked so well, I'm on my second set, gifting to my other family members. Gone are the days of fighting conventional plastic trays that may crack while twisting or chasing cubes that popped-out unexpectedly and landed on the floor. The silicone makes for easy removal and always as expected; never any pop-goes-the-weasel surprises.And due to the mass and density of these larger cubes, they last much longer. In fact, I can casually get through my entire first cocktail and use the same cube for the second drink. The melt is nice and slow, steady as she goes. Nothing worse than drowning your cocktail with water from the quick melt provided by regular small cubes or the layer the melted water leaves on top if you get a little chatty between sips. I want the flavors of the drink, not the ice.So the trays themselves last longer, as I dare you to tear the silicone. Exact opposite or conventional trays, which are easy to crack/break if one gets a little vigorous on those pesky cubes that refuse to leave.Needn't save these for just cocktails, either. The large cubes work great for batches of ice tea as well. Then you don't have to worry about little ones choking on small, rounded pieces of ice. They're not going to put these hummers in their mouth.After one year of use, I have yet to find any substantial downside.

I brew a lot of iced tea and iced coffee and the large ice cubes these trays provide are very nice for they take up little room in the freezer but take up more space in the iced tea pitcher. They are also quite durable and removing the ice gets easier the more often you use them. The trays do wear out, but I will replace them for I believe that they are quality trays that do have a rather lengthy life span.

Excellent product, always popular among friends and improves the chill you need for all types of drinks. I use it normally for all ice purposes, small cubes are out. Perfect size.

Love these, would be 5 stars if they weren’t so difficult to remove. Maybe consider making the base firmer to remove easier. Overall, love the product and would buy again!

I like these a lot. They pop out easily. The instructions do recommend leaving them on the counter for a few moments before popping them out and that works well. They do not melt quickly and are so nice for adult beverages, such as Old Fashions, but could be used in any kind of cold beverage.

Good quality material, good mold design. It takes a bit of effort to remove the cubes if you don't know what you're doing, but it's relatively easy once you figure it out. I have abused mine quite a bit since I use it often, and it has endured without any sign of degradation or damage. 10/10 product.
